I really enjoyed creating artwork for this project. It really made me think about something different from an “outside the box perspective” which i don’t get to do very often. I got to think about the things that made me most happy and the things I wish I could change about myself. My character of Ideal Nick was meant to display the things that I desire in life. I believe I have a very good life and I like to live to my full potential everyday and be happy. Therefore some of my ideal scenarios were already scenarios that I have already incorporated into my life. They are the things that make me happy and the things that ultimately make me, me. The little racing character I chose I think represents me well since I am quite a shy person to people I don’t know but I am still outgoing and have a personality. I thought that this character represented me well since I drive a lot of racing cars which means I wear a helmet a lot of the time. The images and GIFs I chose to create all have significant meaning to me and things I hope to achieve in life swell as adding a bit of my personal humor to them. The line drawings are of actual photographs I have taken that contain significant elements to me. This project in a way tells a story of the ideal version of myself and what I ultimately hope to achieve in life which is happiness. I created these images because in my ideal world they would make me happy and that is what I strive to achieve one day.
